EVQ is now Clearly EV.

The new name comes with a new brand, a redesigned website, and a broader vision for what we want to build.

Todd Edman has been named Founder & CEO, while company founder Matthew Metz will transition to Board Chair, focusing on industry policy, advocacy, and accelerating EV adoption.

The transition comes as Clearly EV expands beyond its original focus on lead generation.

“Buying an EV shouldn't be as complicated as it is,” said Metz. “Over the past year, our team has learned a tremendous amount about where EV ownership succeeds — and where it falls apart. Todd challenged us to think beyond the transaction, and it became clear we could solve a much bigger problem.”

Rather than focusing only on connecting shoppers with dealerships, Clearly EV is building solutions to support drivers throughout the EV ownership experience.

Edman brings experience across economics, technology, automotive retail, and sales leadership.

“Matthew built something with a strong foundation,” said Edman. “Our mission hasn't changed — we still want to make EV ownership dramatically simpler. We've simply realized the opportunity is much bigger than where we started.”

We’ll share more about the next phase of Clearly EV in the coming months.
